two years have passed since the Reykjavík 9, along with more people, intended to
enter the Parliament building and read a declaration for those present. On this occasion we are throwing a solidarity action at Alþingi at 14:30, sending a clear message that we have our eyes on the case and refuse to
see nine people take the fall for the whole movement of resistance that was created during the winter 2008-2009.....

Basically, people write a statement on a piece of paper and take a
photograph of themselves holding the statement. At least 200 people have
already done their photo, most of them which can be seen here:

Like you can see, people are not saying the same things and there is no
ideological unity to be found there. The statements are simple but sharp
and go from saying "Drop the Charges" or "I support the Reykjavík Nine" to
being something like "I also attacked the Parliament" or "We all attacked
the parliament" or "Accuse me as well... motherfuckers".
Basically, feel free to write what you want to say! There is no demand
that people show their faces. If you want to be masked or hold the paper
with the statement so it goes over your face, then do it.
There are already some photos taken in London, Athens and Copenhagen,
which is great prove of that solidarity against oppression does not have
borders. Also, Icelandic authorities, media and conservatives hate nothing
more then negative attention from abroad. So if you are abroad and want to
take part, it is great to make that clear.
